Peter Adams

Peter grew up in Western Nebraska on the farm with 10 siblings. He came to faith in Jesus as a young boy. He has been in the pastorate since 1985. He started his Christian work as a Bible smuggler in the old Iron Curtain Countries from 1979 – 1981. From 1989 – 1995 he was a church planting pastor in Austria. After graduating from Mid-America Reformed Seminary in 1995 he has pastored two Reformed church plants in Michigan. In addition…

Dave Eshuis

Dave is a retired logistics specialist from Pfizer and previous landscaper. He volunteers working with disabled persons and in our local jail ministry teaching and mentoring the inmates. Dave and his wife Barb have 3 married children, 9 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Dave also enjoys camping, hunting, fishing, and biking. He is also on call 24/7 in helping people to know Jesus better.

Gary Mason

Gary is a retired history teacher. He loves travel and nature and serving in the local county jail as a mentor to prisoners. He collects antiques and makes some of the best Maple syrup in the area. Gary currently leads our adult education program.

Brent Tuinstra

Brent has been an elder at Christ the King PCA since its founding in 2007 and has served one term as deacon in his previous church.  He has taught 4-9th grade catechism periodically for almost 25 years.  Brent has been married to Tracye for 30 years and has three children and one daughter-in-law.  He is employed as a toolmaker and enjoys outdoor activities, travel, history, reading various mechanical engineering subjects and current theological subjects and keeps busy with his kid’s school activities.

Dave Heim

Dave is a truck driver and former wood craftsman. He is a father of four and enjoys living in the country. Dave is our longest serving deacon with 11 years in our diaconal ministry.

Ken Novak

Ken runs his own building company and is an expert in construction and maintenance. He and Carol have 4 children, one of whom is a missionary in Indonesia.

Jim Smit

Jim is a retired truck mechanic and the best handyman in West Michigan. He also loves to hunt and fish and really should be on TV for his ability to bring in the catch of the day.
